Tarakeswar Degree College is committed to creating a safe, healthy, responsible and drug-free educational environment for its students and the wider community.
In response to the directions of the Government of West Bengal, Higher Education Department and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force, West Bengal, the College is undertaking awareness and publicity activities relating to the MANAS Portal and the National Narcotics Toll-Free Helpline – 1933.

Prominent banners, posters and notices at the college entrance and other student-facing locations.

Publicity through the institutional website and student-facing digital platforms, including the official MANAS link/QR code.
4. Awareness Drives & IEC Activities
Regular awareness campaigns, anti-drug pledges and appropriate information, education and communication activities.

- Report information: If you have information concerning drug-related activities, use the MANAS platform or call 1933.
- Seek support: Use the available helpline/portal facilities for appropriate guidance and counselling.
- Do not encourage drug abuse: Help create a supportive environment in which students can make healthy and responsible choices.

Anti-Drug Awareness Displays on Campus
The College has displayed anti-drug awareness flex banners at prominent locations, including the entrance of the College, to sensitise students and visitors against drug abuse.
