Department of Sanskrit:

The department of Sanskrit started on 2006 as a general course. In 2012 honours course has been introduced in Sanskrit. Now the department runs with 6 faculty members - one Assistant Professor and 5 SACT teachers. Strong Point of the Department is a good bonding between the teacher and students. Faculty members act as a mentor for the students to help them in academic and personal problems also. Teachers follow lecture method, class test for conducting classes. University result of the students for qualifying the final examination is satisfactory and many students went for higher education. Department organises Educational Tours, Publish wall magazine as regular departmental activity.
